Francisco de Sousa da Câmara and João Miguel Fernandes speak at the 1st International Portuguese Language Congress on Energy and Fiscal Justice

Francisco de Sousa da Câmara and João Miguel Fernandes participated as speakers at the 1st International Portuguese Language Congress on Energy, Climate Transition and Fiscal Justice, with a presentation on the taxation of petroleum products and the energy transition in Portugal.

The event, held on 17 October, was organised by the Brazilian Bar Association (“IAB”) and aimed to present the book “Taxation of Conventional Energies and Transition: Angola, Brazil, Mozambique and Portugal”, coordinated by Professor Diogo Leite de Campos and Dr Alice Khouri, in which Francisco de Sousa da Câmara and João Miguel Fernandes were co-authors of the chapter entitled “Taxation of Petroleum Products and the Energy Transition in Portugal: from the Burden of Taxation to Smart Taxation”.
