III International Arbitration Meeting of Coimbra

António Pinto Leite, partner and coordinator of the litigation and arbitration team of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, is one of the promoters of the “III International Arbitration Meeting of Coimbra”, the largest meeting on arbitration organised in Portugal.  The meeting is co-organised by José Miguel Júdice.

The III International Arbitration Meeting takes place from 24 to 26 October 2013 at the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra. It brings together leading individuals of the arbitration world, lawyers and academics from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Lima, Paris, London, Madrid, Luanda, Lisbon, Oporto and Coimbra. In these three days the matters in discussion will be the recent developments in arbitration – soft law and regulations, advantages and disadvantages of institutional arbitration and the relationships among arbitration procedural rules, civil procedure and constitutional rights.

During this meeting  Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva will be represented by partner Miguel de Almada, who together with Filipe Vaz Pinto, senior associate, coordinates the session targeted at lawyers under 40 years old.
On the second day of the international meeting the firm will be once again represented by partner Miguel Galvão Teles, who will chair the panel II on "Arbitration and Constitutional Law"
