Joana Galvão Teles will participate in the conference "Evidence in Portuguese Civil Procedure: Contemporary and Future Perspectives", organised by NOVA School of Law and the NOVA Dispute Resolution Forum, taking place on 1 June in Lisbon.
Our partner joins Panel III, "Reasoning and Assessment of Evidence", alongside Luís Filipe Pires de Sousa, Judge of the Lisbon Court of Appeal, and Fernando Taínhas, Judge of the Lisbon Commercial Court, under the moderation of João Pedro Pinto-Ferreira, Professor at NOVA School of Law and Co-coordinator of the NOVA Dispute Resolution Forum.
The conference will bring together specialists from academia, the judiciary, and the legal profession to discuss topics such as digital evidence, new technologies in civil procedure, probatio diabolica, and the reasoning behind judicial decisions.
