João Pereira Reis to speak at VII COPIP – Portuguese Real Estate Development Conference

João Pereira Reis, partner at Morais Leitão, will participate in the VII COPIP – Conferência da Promoção Imobiliária em Portugal, organised by APPII and Vida Imobiliária, on 2 June, in Lisbon.

The event, taking place at Clube e Estufa Tazte Secret Spot, brings together developers, investors and public decision-makers to discuss the impact of the geopolitical and macroeconomic landscape on the Portuguese real estate market.

João Pereira Reis will join the panel on urban planning and licensing, entitled "Licenciamento, Licenciamento, Licenciamento.... Uma transformação para melhor?" ("Licensing, Licensing, Licensing.... A change for the better?"). The session, moderated by Ricardo Guimarães, Director of Confidencial Imobiliário, will examine recent legislative changes in this area and the opportunities for closer collaboration between municipalities and private developers. Also joining the panel are Vasco Moreira Rato, Councillor for Urban Planning and Housing at Lisbon City Council, and Manuel Maria Gonçalves, CEO of APPII.
