Lucinda Dias da Silva, of-counsel at Morais Leitão, organised and participated in the colloquium 'Tribute to Prof. José Alberto dos Reis', which commemorated the 150th anniversary of one of the most influential figures in Portuguese law.
The conference covered the professor's life and work in successive sessions presented by former and current professors from the Faculty of Law at the University of Coimbra. Ms Dias da Silva's presentation, entitled 'From pure precautionary protection to anticipatory precautionary protection', was moderated by Teresa Letras, President of the Coimbra Regional Council of the Bar Association.
The ceremony took place at the Colégio da Trindade at the University of Coimbra on 10 December and was organised by a committee comprising Professors J. P. Remédio Marques, Miguel Mesquita, Maria José Capelo and Lucinda Dias da Silva.
