Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva recommended in a leading position in the rankings of IFLR1000

The 2012 edition of the international directory IFLR1000 recommends Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva in a leading position in the recommendations in Portugal.

The firm is ranked in Tier 1 in its core areas: banking and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and project finance.
 In the restructuring and insolvency area,  analysed in Portugal this year for the first time, Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva is ranked in Tier 2.
 
Regarding individual recommendations, five of the firm’s partners are recommended in different areas:

• Luís Branco: banking and capital markets, project finance
• Carlos Osório de Castro: banking and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions
• João Soares da Silva: banking and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions
• Nuno Galvão Teles: mergers and acquisitions
• Filipe Lowndes Marques: project finance.

We should also highlight that this year the firm received from IFLR the "Portuguese Law Firm of the Year Award" for the fifth time. The firm also received this distinction in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010.
