Following its General Meeting, Morais Leitão announces the promotion of three new partners: Joana Galvão Teles, Marisa Larguinho and Miguel Reis de Carvalho.
The new partners strengthen the Litigation and Arbitration and Corporate, Commercial and M&A areas, which they already integrated as lawyers.
The promotions announced today reflect the recognition of the professional excellence of the lawyers promoted, their dedication to the firm and their contribution to the ongoing development of the areas in which they work.
- Joana Galvão Teles: Joins the litigation and arbitration department and the international arbitration team, acting in domestic and international arbitration, ad hoc and institutional, mainly in commercial and contractual disputes in different sectors of activity, such as construction, infrastructure, energy, corporate, commodity trading, etc., with arbitration seats located in different countries (Lisbon, Luanda, Maputo, São Paulo) and under different laws.
- Marisa Larguinho: Her professional activity focuses on capital markets, M&A, corporate and financial law. She has extensive experience, particularly in assisting with the issuance and offering of equity and debt securities, bank financing and mergers and acquisitions, both nationally and internationally.
- Miguel Reis de Carvalho: His work has focused mainly on advising on the acquisition and sale of shareholdings, mergers, demergers and partnerships, negotiating civil and commercial contracts and providing ongoing support to clients on various commercial and corporate matters.
