Rui Ribeiro Lima and Miguel Arnaud to teach on the Urban Planning Postgraduate Programme at FDUL

Rui Ribeiro Lima and Miguel Arnaud will teach on the VII Postgraduate Programme in Urban Planning and Housing Law, organised by the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa, at the invitation of the Instituto de Ciências Jurídico-Políticas.

As part of the programme, Rui Ribeiro Lima teaches the session “Plan Evaluation and Dynamics”, focusing on plan evaluation, strategic environmental assessment and the evolution of territorial planning instruments. Miguel Arnaud contributes to the session “Procedure Instruction and Municipal Assessment Powers”, addressing the limits of municipal regulatory powers, procedural standardisation and the scope of administrative review.

The programme, running from April to June 2026, brings together leading practitioners and academics and covers key topics such as spatial planning, plan implementation, urban planning simplification measures (“simplex”) and urban regeneration.
