Vasco Xavier Mesquita, partner at Morais Leitão, will participate in Advocatus Summit 2026, taking place on 12 May at the Salão Nobre da Ordem dos Advogados, in Lisbon.
Now in its 9th edition, the event — organised by ECO/Advocatus — has established itself as one of the leading forums bringing together the business law community and the corporate world in Portugal. This year's edition is held as part of the centenary celebrations of the Portuguese Bar Association.
Vasco Xavier Mesquita will join the panel on "Defence: Law as an Infrastructure of Sovereignty", alongside Mafalda Ferreira (CS'Associados) and Duarte Schmidt Lino (PLMJ), moderated by Tiago Freire, deputy editor of ECO.
