Catarina Almeida Andrade
Principal Associate
Catarina Almeida Andrade joined the firm in November 2021. She is a member of the corporate department, as well as a member of Team Genesis.
As a tax specialist with a particular focus on tax structuring, private wealth and corporate legal advisory, Catarina has been helping national and international companies evolve throughout their full lifecycle and has developed a strong understanding of the particular needs associated with fundraising, growth/scaling and exit.
Catarina’s professional life started out in Big 4 consulting (KPMG and, subsequently, Deloitte), where she focused on advising clients on private wealth management, international tax matters, and financing operations (i.e. mezzanine loans, derivatives, options, swaps, futures) for medium and large businesses, while also helping navigate high net-worth individuals through the intricate world of taxation.
After leaving the consulting world, Catarina joined RFF & Associados, where she continued to provide tax and legal support to private and corporate investors.

Law Degree (Católica Lisbon School of Law, 2011). Master’s Degree in Corporate and Criminal Law (Católica Lisbon School of Law, 2015). EMEA International Corporate Tax School Level 2 (Deloitte University, 2015). Accounting for Lawyers (IDEFF, 2014).

Portuguese Bar Association (admitted in 2019). Member of Associação Fiscal Portuguesa, the Portuguese Branch of International Fiscal Association. Member of the Editorial committee of Revista Electrónica de Fiscalidade and of the supervisory board of Associação Fiscal Portuguesa (Portuguese branch of the International Fiscal Association).
