Nuno Igreja Matos

Nuno Igreja Matos joined the firm in September 2015. He is a member of the litigation team and works mainly in the areas of criminal and regulatory offences litigation, as well as on matters concerning legal compliance. 

Nuno Igreja Matos provides legal and judicial support on matters concerning, among others, economic and financial crime, as well as transnational crime and international judicial cooperation in criminal matters. Furthermore, Nuno also works in regulatory and sanctions procedures relating to financial law, competition law, audit and supervision rules, and sports.

Nuno is a criminal law teacher at the University of Lisbon School of Law. He has been teaching Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law. Also as a teacher, Nuno has been taking part of the teaching and training staff in several post-graduate courses and workshops.

Nuno is also a researcher at the Criminal Law and Criminal Studies Institute and author of papers on political crimes, corruption and money laundering.
