Morais Leitão was included in the shortlist for the categories "Deal of the Year - Equity" and "Law Firm of the Year - Portugal" of the IFLR European Award 2022.
We are the only Portuguese firm in the shortlist for the "Deal of the Year" category, with the transaction "EDP Renováveis share placement". The team that advised on the transaction included the following lawyers: Nuno Galvão Teles, Francisco Sousa da Câmara, Ricardo Andrade Amaro, Bruno Santiago, Diana Ribeiro Duarte and Pedro Capitão Barbosa.
ML is also nominated for the "Law Firm of the Year - Portugal" award.
The results will be announced on 5th May in London.
