From 13 to 16 April, the workshop “A Year of Administrative Case Law (2025)” will take place. The initiative is organised by the Institute of Legal and Political Sciences (ICJP) and the Lisbon Public Law Research Centre, with the support of Morais Leitão. The event will be held online via Zoom and brings together academics, judges and lawyers to analyse the most relevant recent developments in administrative case law.
Morais Leitão plays an active role in the programme, both through its involvement in the scientific coordination and through the participation of several lawyers from the firm. Jorge Pação, consultant at Morais Leitão and teaching assistant at the Lisbon Faculty of Law, is part of the workshop’s coordination team and will also participate as a speaker.

The programme also features contributions from university professors, judges and specialists in administrative law, addressing topics such as the jurisdiction and competence of administrative courts, procedural efficiency mechanisms, planning law, environmental law, pre-contractual litigation and the State’s non-contractual civil liability.
