Ricardo Nascimento Ferreira speaks at the 12th Annual IBA World Life Sciences Conference

The 12th Annual IBA World Life Sciences Conference, organised by the International Bar Association (IBA), took place in Lisbon from 3 to 5 June.

Ricardo Nascimento Ferreira, partner at Morais Leitão, moderated the roundtable discussion “When pharmaceutical patent enforcement leads to damages – for either side”, which focused on the legal challenges associated with the protection and enforcement of pharmaceutical patents, as well as the potential damages arising from disputes in this sector.

The session brought together leading international practitioners in the fields of life sciences and intellectual property, fostering a discussion on recent trends, litigation strategies and case law developments impacting the pharmaceutical industry.
