Manuel Verdelho

Manuel Verdelho joined the Firm in September 2023. He is a member of the corporate and M&A team, as well as Team Genesis.
His practice focuses on advising domestic and international clients on corporate and commercial law matters, with a particular emphasis on venture capital deals in the technology, life sciences, and healthcare sectors.
Manuel regularly advises founders of emerging and high-growth companies, as well as investors, throughout the various stages of the business lifecycle, often involving coordination across multiple jurisdictions, including capital investment rounds and convertible instruments, growth/scaling, corporate governance issues, go-to-market strategies, and exits.
Additionally, he has relevant experience in banking and finance matters, including venture debt, project finance, and fintech.
Previously, he worked at a DFSA-licensed entity (United Arab Emirates) on the regulatory framework for the provision of financial and wealth management services. His professional experience also includes an internship focused on corporate accounting at Baker Tilly (Isle of Man).

Law Degree (Católica Lisbon School of Law, 2021). LL.M. – Master of Laws (University of Melbourne, 2023).
