Priscila Macedo Pinto is a partner of the corporate and M&A department and co-head of Team Genesis, Morais Leitão’s innovation and venture capital practice. 

Priscila is recognized for advising founders, scale-ups, venture capital investors and corporate ventures on high-impact transactions across the innovation economy.

Her practice focuses on venture capital, M&A, corporate restructurings and strategic investments, with extensive experience in the technology and life sciences sectors. 

She advises clients throughout all stages of growth, from company formation and early-stage financing rounds to complex cross-border transactions, secondary sales, exits and liquidity events. Her approach combines rigorous, cutting-edge legal advice with a strong commercial and financial perspective, enabling her to act as a trusted adviser on both transactional and strategic matters.

Before joining the legal profession, Priscila accumulated significant management experience, which provides her with a distinctive understanding of the challenges faced by founders, executive teams and investors. This background allows her to bridge legal, operational and business considerations in a way that is particularly valuable in high-growth and innovation-driven environments.

Priscila also has extensive experience in coordinating complex multi-jurisdictional projects, including the international expansion of technology-driven businesses, advising management teams on the legal and structural aspects of scaling operations across multiple markets.

As co-head of Team Genesis, she plays an active role in initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, innovation and investment, contributing to the development of the Portuguese and European start-up and scale-up ecosystem while promoting greater collaboration between entrepreneurs, investors, corporates and public institutions.
