Inês Agapito
Principal Associate
Inês Agapito joined Morais Leitão in 2019. She is a member of the Corporate and M&A practice area, being also a member of the Private Equity team and of Team Genesis.
Inês focuses her work mainly on corporate acquisition and restructuring transactions in several industry sectors and on venture capital deals, in particular, fundraising transactions.
Inês also advises technology-based emerging companies on international expansion projects involving the coordination of several jurisdictions and on exit transactions.
Inês is also a member of the firm’s Life Sciences team, working regularly on cross-border reorganization and acquisition transactions of pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.
Prior to joining Morais Leitão, Inês worked at Cuatrecasas, where she was a junior lawyer and, after qualifying as a Portuguese lawyer, a member of the Real Estate team, focusing her practice essentially on real estate M&A transactions (in particular, in the tourism sector).
Education
Law Degree (Nova Law School, 2014). Master’s Degree in Corporate Law (Católica Lisbon School of Law, Lisbon 2017).

Portuguese and English.
