Before joining, she worked as an international tax consultant at Deloitte where she provided guidance on international taxation issues and financing operation for medium and large companies, with a particular emphasis on technologic companies. Following that, she joined the IP-TMT team at Cuatrecasas, where she worked on fintech, consumer law, and data protection.
Márcia is a Senior Research in the Tax&Tech field at NOVA Tax Research Lab.

Law Degree (University of Lisbon School of Law, 2019). Master`s Degree in Law and Technology (Nova Law School, 2022).
